Has anyone seen and/or knows how to correct the problem of files named SQL106a5_0.ISM or something similar not being deleted fomr /tmp
They seem to be created, but under high load, they don't seem to get removed correctly. This leads to a gradual increase in the number of these files in the temp directory which eventually causes mysql to be unable to write anymore. At this point the only solution is to shutdown mysql and remove the files and start it back up again.
Any hints would be appreciated
Thanks
