I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask, but I am a newbie to php and mysql. I am sorry if this question doesn't belong here...
I am creating a registration form in php to write to a mysql database and i need people to be able to input chinese characters. Thing is when i try to pull the data out of the database it isn't in chinese characters. I can format it if i write to a text file and then import to access but was wondering if there was a simpler way of doing it. Do I need to set some sort of codepage in php as you do in vbscript with asp, or do i have to set something in the mysql database?
