Does anyone know when MySQL 4.0 is coming out? I see things saying that it's in alpha state on the MySQL.com site, and no mention of it in news, etc. When will it be coming out? Certain features which I'd like to have in an application I'm developing need things like subselects, etc. which MySQL doesn't have right now, and even though it's on a different DB (though very close to MySQL) that it'll be running on, I need to do local dev, and that means MySQL...
The sooner this comes out, the better; I know I don't really have any control over when it comes out, but a release date of some sort (ie, will it be out this year, next year, whatever) would help much.
