If anyone has any experience with connecting to a MySQL database through ODBC their help would be greatly appreciated.
I've downloaded the MyODBC driver and installed it, and my ISP has provided the relevant details for connecting i.e. port number, and enabled the database user for remote access.
But every time I try to connect I get the following error
[TCX][MyODBC] Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mydomain.com' (10061)(#2003)
This probably means nothing at all but it's the only feed back I get!
There is definitely some interaction between my PC and the server but they just refuse to talk to each other properly.
Thanks in Advance
