Do you mean your PR dropped or your rankings in the search engines?
Is your site listed in your signature? We could try to give you advice on a few SEO things that could be causing a ranking change. Google dance is a normal process for every website. It is just a matter of time and I think you should be calm and just wait, your ranking will be back. You can also build some new backlinks to speed this process It seems that your website has been penalized by the Google. I would suggest you to check your google webmaster tools account and see if the backlinks which you have before still alive or gone. If they were still alive, then i am sure that your website has been penalized for some over riding the google webmaster quality guidelines/rules.
Please wait for a week or 2 and see if everything is normal or not. If not, then what i have said is correct. If drop in SERP - You have done link building, how about on site content and social signal? Competitor analysis also important, because they may buy links to compete with you, or their site have greater content to reader.

I had similar problem, one day a site dropped down about 90 positions (specific key words), and after few days jump up a little bit. Why is that?
