Some please help! My pages are GROWING and yet they are OK while I am editing them.I'm not sure what you're talking about.Thanks for your response. I am making my first homepage on AOL. When I edit my pages they all look in position and the way I want them, but when I preview the page it is wide and everythings seems to be moving to the right mainly. Can you help?Plain old response:
post your URL, or we won't be able to help.http://members.aol.com/originalsmb/index.html
if you go to the link box and look at band mascot the page is very wide. thanks.Are you able to post the source code. We can't view it on your site as it's in a frameset.

I'm not sure how you've set up your page but at a guess, it looks like you used a table for the bottom half of it as the top half seems to be centred okay. Have you got your table width set to a certain number of pixels that is too large for the screen? Try setting the table width to 100% instead and see if that helps.Hi, try tidying up your source code to begin with. I'm sure all this is not necessary to achieve the layout you have on your page.
Also, while you are experiencing problems and are asking for help, you may like to disable your "no right click" script so people can view your page source easily and offer their help to you.Unregistered! When I looked at your source, I noticed the following:

- the tables are set at a specific width (not percent of window)
- Anyone know what this means ( <htpdiv x="49" y="28" width="528" height="45" type="text" name="null"> )...I never saw this before. I have a hunch that this caused the excessesive width.:confused:looks like some sort of style tag:

<htpdiv x="49" y="28" width="528" height="45" type="text" name="null">

the page is using a CSS, so that tag must be defined in the CSS, but since its on AOL with all their screwy URL bouncing, I couldn't find the CSS.

All the empty data cells are being created by the AOL HomeTown HTML editor, Easy Design. The problem is most likely the Easy Design software. It can't position the elements exactly where you see them during preview.

The person that started this thread needs to say what screen resolution they are viewing the page at, at 1024 x 768 the page is not too wide.
