When my group started we had decided to make a separate site for the group which was separate from my site. Now we see one site will suffice. " border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> <br /><br />This is rough discription of how to do it.<br /><br />You can download the current forum folder to your computer.<br /><br />in your cpanel > mysql<br />create the database for the new forum<br />create the user<br />add the user to the database<br /><br />Where you downloaded the forum files,<br />edit the config file for whatever forum it is <br />to reflect the different db name, user and password.<br />Upload the forum folder to the desired location.<br /><br />Then on the old forum site<br />goto mysql<br />at the bottom of mysql goto phpmyadmin<br />select database on the left<br />after it loads, click export,<br />click select all below the word export<br />check below save as file,<br />compression zipped<br />click GO at right<br />select save to disk<br />browse to a folder on your computer<br /><br />then in cpanel for new forum location<br />goto mysql<br />at the bottom of mysql goto phpmyadmin<br /> the left select the new forum database<br />select at top SQL<br />at bottom find<br />Location of the textfile:<br />browse to file on your computer<br />leave compression on autodetect, click go<br />wait and the database data will load.<!--content-->
