Here's the problem. I had a PR 4 website hosted on a free server. About a month ago I bought a domain and moved all the files to their new location.Could google consider the new site a copy and ban it? (I deleted the old files on the free host)On top of that, I did some seo work on the new domain. After 1-2 weeks from registration it already had 20-30 backlinks. Was this a bad thing to do?I am already on yahoo and msn, but google keeps crawling my site every 3 days and nothing happends. I understand that it may take some time before it is listed on google, but at my other sites it took only 1-2 weeks.Any help/advice/info appreciated. Thanks.I did the same thing in April, and got sandboxed by Google, of which I still can't get out of. The original free host, still ranks #1 for keywords even though all the pages have been removed except for a meta redirect, and despite it being PR3 now, and the new domain being PR6, the new domain is still on page 9 of google serps.Personally, I would have used a 301 Permanently Moved header on the old pages. It's been my experience that the SE's follow 301's and adjust accordingly.ScienceOfSpock wrote:OOps.I only put one huge link to the new domain on the old freehost.Could it be too late if I put the header now?ScienceOfSpock wrote:
