With the increase usage of mobile phones for internet access and online communication, mobile seo is becoming quite popular. Its SEO needs to be done differently than websites as understood, but i would like to know what might be the most effective mobile seo service and their effectiveness.

Cheers. I don't think there is different method to do mobile SEO. Because the search engine it is still refer to Google, Bing and Yahoo.
The only concern for mobile is file size, heavy file size will causing a page load slow, it make user give up the page, finally it increase bounce rate. Mobile seo could only exists if you have a particular mobile site and only link building you do is from other mobile sites and other seo activity on mobile based platform.Mobile seo is a short term verity performance waiting for real device such as i-phone. Mobile SEO is nothing different from normal SEO, the crawler crawling the site will be different. Googlebot-mobile will be crawling mobile sites. for mobile seo, website have to be developed in mobile version, we can find mobile version for facebook.com, to search on mobile, mobile version of website is easy to search on mobile. Mobile SEO is similar to the usual one, but still we need to concentrate more on things that are more habitual for mobile users like for example reading blogs or watching videos. Performing SEO using mobile phones. For me doing SEO using a computer is still better and best. For I know mobile phones is only use for communication purposes, and the additional features such as multi-tasking, internet browsing, video player, music player, wi-fi enable, bluetooth, email and other modern capabilities are only for portability and ease of access. Also, a smart phone is required to perform mobile SEO because it can do the capabilities I mentioned.
Mobile version of website for more SEO feasibility. Having a mobile version of website is good, and a lite version of a website. I experienced some domain such as m.examplewebiste.com, wap.examplewebsite.com, m.examplewebsite.mobi etc. are all for mobile version of their website. A user will experience some page compression and faster load rendering. And sometimes if a website has a mobile version, you will see mobile phone icon beside the URL of that website when searched in google. Cool! hey,
I dont think mobile SEO will be effective as there is no bandwidth guarantee and it takes longer time than pc. MrSS,

Doing SEO from a mobile phone?
That's kinda complicated as smartphones got a small screen display. Why not create a mobile version of the website and do SEO on it thru your desktop. I guess that will work.
