My question was: are their any SEO practice to improve a websites rankings in SERP's for mobile searches? Eh, we need someone to share some basic tips cause I really want to increase my mobile hit's. I really think having a physical address associated with your site is very important factor with the introduction of Venice and its location influence on SERPS. All those smart phones are rocking GPS. There is a 30 minute video linked in this blog post to watch that i have not watched yet. It's to early in the morning to be watching video's. I'm on my first cup of coffee right now.

http://www.webpronews.com/how-to-make-a-mobile-friendly-site-according-to-google-2012-03 As I can see there is no difference between SERP in Google when I use my computer or my HTC. So, I think that SEO methods should be the same... IMHO... First, make sure that your mobile site is properly recognized by Google by creating a mobile sitemap and submitting it to Google. Yes, there is a separate sitemap for mobile versions. If Googlebot is for desktop, there is also Googlebot Mobile for mobile sites. Browse Google webmaster tools for more info. I think not major difference in WEB website and mobile website seo. If you website is doing well in search engines, certainly that will be the same in mobile search. Good luck Do the same SEO for that site version as you are doing for the previous one. Quote: Originally Posted by sameerseo Yes off course you have to use mobile search also.
