Message editing

Please help me. I have this kind of problem. When i want to edit message where is some kind of code inside( html, php or something else) then browser offering to download or open file 'editpost.php'. i press cancel and try to edit once more, then it open the message. Next time again opens the php file. And this is going this way all the time.
What could be the problem and how to fix it?

You shouldn't post here. But I'll be nice and tell you.

You cannot view php files in action from your desktop. Only if they are on the internet (uploaded).

To edit the file, open it with a text editor such as Notepad, Wordpad, Dreamweaver or FrontPage.

Find the text you want to change

Change the text

Re-upload it

The file is now edited!
