member and threads importing

Hello All,

I have lost my database and it got crashed. I would like to know how to import a specific memberlist and their password, threads, posts, etc from an old database I have. I'm using myPHPadmin console. Please advise me:-

1) once reinstall my vbulletin. how do I go about importing old database into new database, where i can have all my members, their user rights, thread, posts, etc. I tried doing and so far get error with my database, and no email is sent to my contact account (technical) as used earlier.

Haven't done it myself but you might want to take a look at impex to see if it can help you do what you want to do. I think it might work but I would be a little worried about the integrity of the database that crashed. Can you install it on a test system to see if it works?
