hello everyone, im new at this and just signed up today, i have been looking around for places to advertise this site i setup, i wont paste the link i dont think im supposed to, basically its a dating site i made fromhere, i just need to market the site but i really dont know where to start, any advice would be good, has anyone else done anything like this before ? wheres good places to advertise these things ?thanks in advance for any helptgtmHello,Try adding you site to the search engines, some directories, and toplists to get you started
I just started a couple of months ago and I found that the tools provided at http://www.engineseeker.com have been very usefull, also http://www.linkmarket.net/ has been very usefull for exchanging links (NOTE: I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH EITHER OF THESE SITES I AM NOT ADVERTISING I AM GIVING ADVICE) I would recomend getting some sites to put text links pointing to your page, its not very hard to do this for free. Or there are pay services that you can use to streamline the process. Secondly start a word of mouth campaighn, you dont have to let people know its your site but you can tell someone "hey i found this great dating website...." and they will telll a friend ect. I have found that this form of viral marketing can be extremely effective.
