I've been asked to provide a budget by tomorrow for a new webhost for our website. I am based in the Netherlands but could use providers in other countries - Germany, Belgium. The site is currently hosted in France.
Requirements are fairly standard -
Linux-based
PHP5, mySQL etc
40gb space
100gb traffic currently (but much of that due to mirror traffic)
access to install and configure additional software (eg Drupal, ePrints)
Managed service - provider does updates and patches core services
Could we get this for 100 euro a month?
We do not pay for our hosting now (we are a NGO/non-profit org), and I am new to Europe so I am not sure of a ballpark budget figure and am having trouble finding names of suitable hosts.
