I'm setting up a new website business and I would like to know what's the best way to make it easily google searchable?Besides backlinks that is. I'll need to find people to link to me for that.Also, is the google advertising worth the money?Thanks- JonHi Jon,You can obtain backlinks by submitting your site to website directories, and also by writing on-topic articles (including a link to your site in the Resource Box) and submitting them to article directories. This is a great way to create backlinks when you're first starting out.Regarding AdWords, I'd say it's worth the money, provided you know what you're doing. If you don't, you can begin to lose money in a hurry. If you decide to give it a try, I'd suggest reading as much as you can about it first (in this and other forums), and starting small, then working your way up once you have some experience.Hope this helps, and best of luck.
