Make E-Mails Sent From Forum Safe

Ok so when a new member signs up they get a confirmation email, well I use hotmail. So every time they get my email they deem my email address unsafe or harmful and put it into junk email. Any way to use a SSL certificate to stop that?

Not that I know of, my email is set up to use my @live.com adress, does that make a diff?

Did you set up the SMTP email account in your admincp? That uses your POP mail server and gets better responses from moronic freemails like hotmail and aol from flagging your activation emails as spam. The problem with not using SMTP is that php mail sends an incomplete header, can't do a reverse lookup, so freemails don't like them.
