What is the difference between a FRAME and an IFRAME?

I have heard references to both, but they seem to be slightly different.Frames is a way of showing more than one page at a time, so in ref to your post

FRAME this is when a page is made using more than one page two or three is the norm and is "defined" with a page that has a frameset on it. for example www.indianridgeflorida.com

IFRAME This is when you have a page cut into another page within a box, and is controled by commands in the page. for example http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicinde ... scroll.htm (best i could find)I see now, thanksOh I like that Iframe - that's neat - thanks for the link! It went in my tutorials folder - now I just hope I can live long enough to learn all I want to! :rolleyes:You might want to learn about entering in alternate text for people with older browsers...lots of them just downright won't read them, so your user is left with nothing there.Originally posted by justjeni
Excellent point, you two -thanks! I'll make note of that. I'm not using it yet, but have a couple ways I would like to and it will be very good to know this beforehand for a change!
