Yeah, unless your running a forum strictly related to artists and graphics I wouldn't use more than 2 or 3.

How will they keep it hot and attractive? Once your style is in place you won't have to change anything. Unless of course you plan on changing graphics all the time. :\

Yes, and you are the only one who doesn't have any idea about creating and managing a forum. What do you need a GFX team for? To change your logo daily or weekly? Nice one... Even google hires only one guy to change their sign ocassionally.
