Long standing key pages dropped off rankings completely

My companies site www.selectresorts.co.uk/holidays is a UK based villa accommodation rental company and we have always had a great ranking on Google.

Recently we suddenly lost rank on some major pages/keywords [example – monte da quinta suites] for no reason that I can see. These pages that were ranking in the top5 for years have gone completely.

When I check site:http://www.selectresorts.co.uk/holidays/Monte_da_Quinta_Suites/ I find that the page is still in the index and being regularly cached. I just don't know why the page has dropped off the rankings.

We have been creating articles/press releases monthly to generate links to the specific pages etc, but these articles are now becoming ranked and our page is left off.

I am extremely confused because the entire site still ranks highly and our organic traffic is increasing but the issue with some key pages dropping off the rankings so quickly doesn’t seem right.

Do you think it is possible that we have set off any penalty filter, or is the site design not suitable - Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks Google just made a huge PR blitz announcing that they had changed their search algorithm and that roughly 11% of all search results would be effected. It seems that either your site or the backlinks that you're site has, falls under the 11% that has been impacted by Google's change. You need to read up on what the changes Google made were and start figuring out what you previously were doing that would be penalized in their new changes. Could you also let us know the date from which you seeing the drop?
Google went live with their Farmar algo from 25th Feb..That could be one major reason.... Google will penalty Content Farm, have you do it? It was beginning-mid of February when we saw a drop in the rankings for that page. The only change we have made recently has been the structure of the website (using tabbed content on a single page), which went live at the start of January. From research both myself and the agency who made the amends have conducted this should not be an issue. What are your thoughts?

When searching for 'monte da quinta suites' in Google I have noticed that a page does display for Select Resorts but it relates to a single property (which has no SEO work and very little text) in MDQ Suites. It is odd that this page is being ranked higher than the main page.

Once again many thanks for your help
