Hi all!
My client want to achieve the first result in "Local business results" on Google.
The Local business results appears when you search for a keyword + city or location.
Is here valid the same method for better rankings as for simple organic searches? did you claim the listing in the "Google Places"?
below the listing, you should see: "more info" click on this. Then on the top right: "Are you the business owner?"
This link should let you to Google place and let you claim the listing. once you claim it, read this article on how to optimize it: http://www.interactivemarketinginc.com/google-maps.html No his not claimed yet anything in the Google places.
I'v googled it a little:
If I understand there is a chance to be listed by so.. casual... and there is a way to purchase a listing spot. Or is only paid?

From what I remember you have upto 5 keywords to choose from. Quote: Originally Posted by DavidCDD Yeah you have a title to play around with which helps and you also have keyword boxes.
From what I remember you have upto 5 keywords to choose from. it's actually 5 categories from which two of them have to be picked from suggestions from Google and the other 3 can be whatever you want to put in. They will show on the listing so make sure it doesn't look like spam.
