Sorry, but i am trying to do the above for a news section i am creating on my website I have looked at one message here but i lost it when they started using serverside and PHP.....all confusing for me as a started....<br />

I just want to know how to do the above using HTML or whatever is recommended.......<br />

What code do i put on the txt file and what code i need to put in the html file.....<br />

I know it is asking alot, when i get to understand it then i will be ok.......<br />

serverside coding. you hav eto learn a serverside language like php, or asp or cgi. until you do than you can't inlcude a txt file. you could use SSI (serverside include.) but agian you have to rename your page to .shtml. so what you want can not be done with just html. you have no choice but to learn something.
