I will look at these hosts and see which one is best.
Does anybody have a preference from this list, or another one that they use?I don't see a point. I mean that a small or middle sized web host can not afford to out source its support operations because they need to be in-house. Outsourced support works best for corporate structures which can prepare good manuals and to control the level of support services they receive. I don't think that any outsourced support works good for example for web host with 10,000 to 20,000 customers.Listed in WHT wiki can be found here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/wiki/Serv ... Outsourced support works if you need to fix costs and free up human capital. I'd rather be able to dedicate my people to selling and owning ( Client relationship) circuit and total solution accounts than sitting infront of the ticket systems waiting for tickets. For low margin business you outsource it fix your cost and focus on higher margin services. But hey thats why these companies exist.I don't see a point. Thats not always true. Basically because all the outsourced companies have the kind of support plans that suits small to large corporates.

For Eg: a company with one single server can go with a smaller plan, where there would be a pool of smaller companies like him, supported by a team or 5-6 covering 24/7. So in short he would be able to get a 24/7 support for may be less than 60-70 $. On the other side ,i t turnes out to be a higher investment for the bigger corporates where the company can go with 5-6 dedicated techs for a 24/7 support.Outsourced support works if you need to fix costs and free up human capital. Thats the point to be precise :)Some in this list (from the posts, not from the OP's list) do not belong there. He listed "support" companys, many of the ones posted in responses do not offer outsourced support and offer system administration only.wow thats some list, I'll be looking at a few of those sitesThanks!why not just got with a managed hosting company period. most of the time the packages they can offer and the overall staff available can be worth whatever extra it may cost.
