Just wanted to run something by you kind folk, I'am currently having to change some of my footer links because alot of the text was repeated and I didn't want to be accused of been a spammer by google so many of the footer links and menu links have been changed my question.....
Although my site is going to have the same menu structure and footer links on every page I am wanting to have say 20 or so links on each page to other pages on the site however these links will be different on all the pages (but footer and menu links will stay the same)would it be ok to do this

But I don't think it's considered spam if it's on your own site.
(I've been concerned with this, myself.) I don't want to give any incorrect advice about this issue but i did read a blog post on SEOmoz blog last month about this topic. I just found that blog post. Have a look at it while we wait for someone who can provide valid advice on this matter.
http://www.seomoz.org/blog/how-many-links-is-too-many If those links go to internal pages (pages on the same site) it won't do any harm. Think about it - most websites on the net have same footer (and menu) on each page, and if that was considered spam most sites would have been penalized.
