Link problem in vbadvanced CMPS

Hello

I installed vbadvanced CMPS in the public_html folder[/COLOR]
and my forum is in "/forum" folder

i have installed it without any worry . but the problem lies in the Links

the CMPS page is /cmps_index.php

so when i open www.mysitename.com/cmps_index.php
I can see the CMPS page

but when i open this page www.mysitename.com
IT opens to the link directory which has cgi-bin , forum and the rest

It want that when i type www.mysitename.com , the CMPS page open's

How can i do it
is it of any .htaccess page ( if so please tell me what i should add there , moreover my .htaccess file in my forum (public_html ) folder contains nothing

1. rename the cmps_index.php to index.php
2. Login your admincp and go to the vBa CMPS--> Default settings --> Main Options
3. Edit the first option

Code: 
CMPS URL 
The full URL to your CMPS file (originally named cmps_index.php).

4. Done

Now you have your website displayed as www.yourwebsite.com
