I know it is possible to click on a link that moves the page down to a designated part of the webpage- such as the (long) code below:

<A HREF=http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/"#new">Whats New

WHATS NEW?

Weapons have been added to my arsenal- only the best made it to the end. Many of the weapons are made by
Rigid Ice

New and very realistic looking skins/uniforms for training gameplay.

New weapons- several great looking weapons, sounds, models, and
pictures.

But, is it possible to have a link on a webpage, that when clicked on, goes to another webpage and then moves down to a designated part of the page?

Please help! Thanks!Only if that page has an anchor. If so, you just link to it like this: <a href=http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/"thepage.htm#anchorname">Go to the anchorHey thanks! I got it to work! :DYou're welcome... :)
