we have offered quite a few link exchanges to home pages to PR3 or PR4 sites,
I have tended to not do exchange 2way links,
What are your views?

I believe that all links are of value, no matter whether they are one way, exchanged or even no-follow.
If these sites are respected or popular, go ahead and exchange links with them. 3 Way is the best but the 2 Way are also good if the links are coming from the entire website nut only the homapage. I think 2 way backlinks can not help you a lot as search engines can easily detect them and as we know 2 wy links exchange is a contract between two webmasters to link to their website and its not so valuable for search engines but they can help you a little.
3 way link exchange is better than 2 way but as i heard it can be detected by Google too.
But i don't think 2 way or 3 way link exchange hurts your website. At least they will not considered as valuable links but they can't hurt your ranking. So you can do it a little.
But the best kind of backlinks is one way backlinks. They can help your ranking a lot. We would like to link exchange for good site and less OBL and we need to home related sites like Garden, Home Improvemrnts, Home decorations, landscape, Interor design, decorators, House, Cleaning service with less 40 OBL and no footer link and group link..

Friends, we are doing 3- way link exchange for google catched site only and we can offer to you as to quality theme at presently we need we urgent theme in home related sites like home decoration,interior design,flooring designing,home cleaning,home gardening,home improvement site with less 40 OBL and should not have group link and footer links..
Obviously we would give optional theme as your theme requirement depend for that and we have all theme for link exchange except mobile electronics ..

we need urgent theme for pr1,2,3,4 site for home related sites like home interior decoration,home cleaning,gardening,flooring tiles and any home improvement with less 40 OBL and should not have footer link and group link.

Divya.N its not matter that from where you get backlink. The most important thing is that you get genuine back links, it is not a nofollow not on deep page and it is good if the link page have some PR.
