Learning to Rip

I need help learning to rip skins, I'm not a noob, I have knowledge of HTML and a little PHP and other languages (XML not included), but I would like to do this to give something back to the community that has helped me so much.

Would anyone be interested in teaching me/becoming a mentor?

I would also like to know if there are any particular tools needed, if this is sensitive info, I can talk over MSN, just reply here with interest and I'll PM you my MSN
