Hey y'all,
I've been trying to get an html page wich displays a table (yes, tabular data) to print in landscape. I've tried several options already and I just can't seem to get it to work...
I found this thread:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=12668&highlight=printing">http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showt ... t=printing</a><!-- m -->
And I also found this:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://home.tampabay.rr.com/bmerkey/examples/landscape-test.html">http://home.tampabay.rr.com/bmerkey/exa ... -test.html</a><!-- m -->
It is possible to do it, right? Anyone have any thoughts as to why it's not printing correctly? I've been testing in IE6 and Mozilla.You can't force it if that's what you're trying to do. It's up to the user to set the printer to landscape.Are you saying that it cannot be done, or that it should not be done?Outside of possibly IE, it can't be done. IE is so wide open to system hacks that it probably can be used as a conduit to accomplish this or indeed it may have an API for it.Well, thanks for your help on this, ray.
