How many times should you repeat a keyword in say every 100 words? I heard repeating a keyword too many times can actually have a bad affect (spamming). No you shouldn't just write naturally see how that ranks then if it doesnt look at other methods. To rank hire. do it naturally for the visitors.
I would not exceed 5% of the content. Can someone please post the url for a reliable and accurate online keyword density tool. I have done numerous searches, and have tried tons of online tools, but I'm getting very different results from all these tools. I honestly don't know what to believe. Thanks. As as far repetition of keyword is concerned there is no hard and fast rule as to after how much words you should repeat it, instead try writing naturally and put it wherever necessary but don't bombard it everywhere on your page. Use your keywords in the title, URL and use it twice in your body. That I think should be enough cause that is just what I do. No one really knows what is the correct keyword density although if you overdo it I'm sure the bots will be triggered thinking your article is spam.
The important thing is you write for your readers and focus on building links on that web page you want get ranked. It is backlinks and proper use of anchor texts that will rank your web page, keep that in mind.
To set an example, search in G the words "click here" and it will show the number one site adobe.com (at the time of this writing.) Why, because most websites point to pdf reader (adobe) as "click here." Do you think adobe.com has placed hundreds of keywords in its home page "click here?" Of course not.
