keyword density

I'm building my first website and I'm finding it difficult to know what to do about the footer. I have checked my keyword density and it is way over at 4% for my main keyword and just over 2% for my other 2 keywords. I've gone through and taken them down as much as possible but it is still too high.

Now the problem I have is that I need to complate my footer, so what should I do as my keyword density is already too high so I don't know what to put in the footer.

here is my site http://organicwebdesigns.co

thanks for any pointers, advice Quote: Originally Posted by hantaah http://www.v7n.com/forums/seo-forum/264083-keyword-density.html#post1713764

If you are thinking of doing the keyword stuffing thing that people do in thier footers, skip that idea. got it thanks I've always used footers for contact information. keyword density of 4% is not high density you may go with it . If you want to reduce ut then create content for your site Hi,

Keyword density you can say that how may time you have used particular keywords in the content & i do prefer keyword density should be 2 or 3% as per content! Well! Try to post more contents on your site or blog article should in your own words. you can get the idea from the internet but cant do copy paste. Being a Seo i recommend to use ad words account for High destination keywords thanks. Add more content and then get a very similar keyword to the main one and then build on that one. just don't worry too much about keyword density, google will not punish you for it if your site has good content on it but it won't help you that much either. In footer you may put your contact address or put some twitter update , Blog update , facebook update, RSS feeds. You can also try for content optimization for the same page. Check out keyword density, keyword proximity and keyword adjacency. I think keyword stuffing would only be detected or interpreted as such if your keywords are used not in relevance with the site statements. If you used the keywords properly and coherently then i don't think keyword density would be a problem. With that many keywords and these densities, consider adding at least 400 - 500 words of content in your page. Keyword density is important because search engines use this information to categorize a site's theme, and to determine which terms the site is relevant to Keyword Density should always be between 2% to 3%. Just put some important pages of your site in the footer. Like contact us, about us, etc.
