Keys to have a healthy forum+

I have follwed the sugestions found at vbteam regarding forum maintenance and installation. They are simply great, always work and leave me satisfied.

But...

What should I do to keep my forum healthy? How often should I reindex or update counters? Is that ven helpful?

I do threads inform. rebuild once a year, like everytime i clean trash can and remove lots of threads. the other stuff i rarely run.
Actually it depends on your forum activity, how often people post threads/reply etc.
