Jump down the page? link?

I've seen some pages that allow you to click a link that brings you to a lower part of the same page. How do you specify where it jumps to?

Thanks!!You can create bookmarks in the page.

E.g.

this is bookmarked in a page called about.html:

About Us

If you are linking this bookmark from the same page you can use this link method:

<a href=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"#About">About us

If you are linking from another page you can use:

<a href=http://www.htmlforums.com/archive/index.php/"about.html#About">About usYep, although you'll often see the bookmarks referred to as anchors.Sweet!

Worked great, thank you!Originally posted by Goldilocks
