At my company it was recently brought up that JQuery is open source and some of us here have been tasked to come up with a good business case for it. We are developing websites in ASP.Net and have been using Telerik controls which use JQuery on there end.My company seems to be okay with the fact that Telerik uses it because if it breaks then Telerik is responsible. Can you guys give me any good reasons to use JQuery? Any information as to how code is added to the project (not just anyone can add to it). Reasons why open source isnt the devil?Keep in mind my company is against using open source projects/frameworks/program etc. I was not allowed to install VLC Media Player to fix some codec issues with Windows Media Player for example. But thats a whole other story...Thanks in advance.
