Hi guys. Quick question....

Is there a bit of software anywhere on the internet which does what im after....

Basically, Imagine you have a big image, containing loads of pictures, text, information etc. One part of the image you want to be a link to somewhere.

So, is there any bit of software that you can put this big picture into, select the area of the image that you want to be a link, and it will split the image down into multiple images that you can put together to make the same "overall" image, but in fact they are seperate images, and you can have the section of the image you selected a link to somewhere else.

I re-wrote that a few times so it would make sense so i hope it worked haha. Thanks in advance,
You could use a javascript image map on parts of the original image - no need to split it. That's an alternative method.
cheers for the reply, have since read up on this and that works perfectly.

thanks again,
Text in the internet shouldn't be embedded in images. That makes it inaccessible to many users.
What are you using this big image for?
