Hi all,<br /><br />LOVE the Fantastico installer, holy cow this thing is awesome.<br /><br />I have my Joomla site up and running:<br /><br /><a href="http://www.kevin-jarrett.net" target="_blank">http://www.kevin-jarrett.net</a><br /><br />But am encountering odd problems with the login form. I will submit a ticket but wanted to post here as well.<br /><br />Yesterday, I could (mostly) log in as admin with no problems. I did however notice some odd behavior in the users window ... it would routinely show 'admin' logged in more than once. Never thought about it much.<br /><br />Today, I cannot log in via the login form, I can ONLY get in via the <br /><br /><a href="http://www.kevin-jarrett.net/administrator" target="_blank">http://www.kevin-jarrett.net/administrator</a><br /><br />login form. After that all is well, until I close my browser.<br /><br />I'm no web developer but this sounds like some sort of sessions problem. Happens with IE and FireFox. Actually I did not. I just tried it on another box that does not have ZoneAlarm and it is still happening. I am now turning my attention to my router. This is no fun. :/ I will amend the ticket and ask the rep to confirm he can get in fine, if so, problem is definitely at my end, but I am not yet convinced that is the case. -kj-<!--content-->
This sounds like a (known) bug they have found in version 1.0.8.<br />As far as I know it will be fixed in the next version.<br />Otherwise I be angry since I have the same problem. <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /><!--content-->
Indeed, I was able to fix the problem with a complete reinstall from scratch (non-Fantastico). I only lost about six hours' work. Good thing, too, since if I had built the site I am planning to (for my school), and this happened, I'd jump out a friggin' window...<br /><br />Props to TCH for their speedy assistance as always...<br /><br />-kj-<!--content-->

Hello,<br /><br />Yes it does show occasionally people logged in more then once, the newly modified session (part of 1.0.8) is to blame, but does not cause any problems. I believe this will be slowly ironed out over the next few releases.<br /><br />JimE<!--content-->
