Need general info.--comparing .NET with JAVA in terms of content management; notification; open architecture (integration with systems via webservice/web; costs/efforts to code and general maintainability. Any good links/opinions appreciated.If you ask Sun, they'll say Java is better.<BR><BR>.Net is not cross platform yet.<BR>You'll have more Java developers and resources than .Net<BR>Java will probably be a bit more stable than .Net until they get a SP released.<BR><BR>.Net has a billion dollar company backing them<BR>.Net has picked up on the weaknesses of Java, just as Java picked up on the weaknesses of C++<BR><BR><BR>Probably be better off typing Java vs .Net into google... I'll bet that returns more debates than you could even fathom.
