I am moving from 1 host to another, and i uploaded files, but i am having problem with database, as SQLDump doesnt accept .zip or .rar files as they decrease size of .sql file by 7 times. I dont know how to make .gzip files, and import of 70mb .sql file, would take 2-3 hrs for me.. I added .sql file to .zip archive, and it was only 11mb, instead of 70...

I need any kind of advice how to import a database without too much pain.

Dump the database using phpMyAdmin export, it has a gz option that you can check and save the file.

BigDump can save you a major PITA ... you just need to tell it where to do its thing and your done.

If this doesn't help, send me a PM and I can walk you through it or do it for you.
 
I just used SQLDumpSplitter, split 70mb db into 35 files by 2mb ea.. Currently uploaded 20... after another 15, if nothing will work, then i would need some assistance =/

yes, the thing is... i changed Host together with Domain... does that mean i got some settings wrong somewhere ? because if i am trying to go YYYYYYY.yyy , it says -

Where is XXXXXXX is my old domain + host, and YYYYYY is my new domain and host .... VERY weird...
