Is WCAG compliance a factor in Google SERP?

Just curious, are websites written in compliacne with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) rewarded in SERP by Google (or others)?Search engines say that it would help it ... by having nice clean code. But in reality it doesn't really have any affect of any significance as long as the spiders can easily access and read the content on your website it is fine. The benefit of coding to W3C standards is that your webpages should be Future Proof - meaning they will or should always maintain the same look at feel to them. If you had a lot of errors and were not W3C compliant, then future coding changes and browser implementations could cause several issues with your site on how spiders and web visitors may be able to see it.
