There are plenty of advantages in using their image database . Like faster load times by using a separate image server and reducing your bandwidth requirements. They will also keep images up to date for you.Google will probably accept all the text links on the page (although you could reduce clutter by using ALT text instead).I have given this concept some thought for my link pages ... just have not gotten around to it.
