is there a way to like enable something on admincp so the avatar that people select as their avatar or upload gets resized to the nearer to the size i want because everytime someone tries to upload an avatar they file size to big.
so is there anywhere where i can enable re-sizing for avatars

Just change the size in your picture upload permissions.

"Custom Avatar Maximum File Size (bytes)1KB = 1024 bytes"

Keep your parameters at say 150x150.


And to answer your question: No because this is controlled by the admin so there are no security issues.
