Is Firefox SearchStatus good for checking page rank?

I'm currently using the Firefox addon "SearchStatus" to check the page rank of sites and was wondering just how good a tool it is for that purpose.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a better one? not sure what SearchStatus is..
but most site owners use seoquake firefox plugin to check pagerank I've used it and have been quite happy with it - no complaints. I like some of the other features available with SearchStatus:

Link Report, External Links, Alexa Ranking, Compete Rank, Highlight NoFollow Links

I like the ability to be able to turn off some of the features as well.

It's been pretty reliable as far as displaying the PageRank of pages (as good as the foolbar). i exclusively use search status to keep everything simple. i don't use all that other toolbar stuff, just like to check PR. And you can move it around anywhere, from the nav bar, menu bar, status bar etc.

I like alot of screen real estate. Yes it is a good tool I am using it for checking PR and Alexa ranking. yes, this firefox tool is good but sometimes I have to reload a page (ctrl+F5) to view pagerank because sometimes it shows pr of a previous page.. Of course it is, it's quick and accurate. Quote: Originally Posted by turf http://www.v7n.com/forums/seo-forum...atus-good-checking-page-rank.html#post1439850

Designed for the highly specialised needs of search engine marketers, this toolbar provides extensive search-related information about a site, all conveniently displayed in one discreet and compact toolbar.

For every site you visit using, SearchStatus lets.. A whole lot more on this can be found on this site. http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/ Thank you all for your responses. While I'll definitely be taking a look at seoquake, it sounds like SearchStatus is a good tool which will adequately meet my needs.

Thanks again. Daniel Scocco of Daily Blogging Tips seems to like this: Best Firefox Add-ons: SearchStatus Yep, PageRank toolbar is the same across all SEO add-ons and extensions. Also, a good tip for beginners (not saying that you are) is the the toolbar PageRank is only an indicator of the actual pagerank at the time it was last updated so it is never actually in real-time. My opinion, is keeping it simple is the right idea. I have been using searchstatus for a while and its very good for pr and also alexa ranking. search status add-ons for firefox is quite impressive for me.. You can check the link if it's no follow or do follow.. You can also check your pagerank and alexa.. I recommend searchStatus for you... I differ. I side with SEO Quake. It's been pretty reliable as far as displaying the PageRank of pages (as good as the foolbar). I totally agree with him. Seo book is also a good tool. I think seo book is only providing Site pr and page pr. Google chrome (which I personally rate higher than Firefox) has a number of extensions that track page ranks of sites - Chrome SEO and SEO Site Tools are excellent resources.
