How does linking together your own sites/sister sites work?
If "one" is using the same platform for all of their sites (example blogger) and using the same domain hosting (godaddy), how can one link all these sites together to build links?
I understand:
- The sites need different ip addressed backlinks
- Linking the same adsense account sites together is BANNED worthy
**How can I change the ip address of each site on the same platform? Can I setup different godaddy accounts? will that change the "WHO IS" lookup.. making it different a different ip for the site?
Help would be very much appreciated
) yes you have to maintain different ip address Quote: Originally Posted by cwebbatya

you need to different IPs but if your websites have same Ip then crawler will count as one backlink of all. I don't believe there is a problem with having sites from GoDaddy linking to each other.
Multiple blogger or wordpress.com accounts though would certainty be the the same IP (ning is a great example of this).
One way around it is to use Wordpress.org and have the blog/site hosted on your own server...that's what I do for my wine blog what if we are doing backlinking from external websites with same ip address ??? Links from same ip is not useful weather these are sub domain or internal page of a site
