<b>For IPB v1.3 Final</b><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> I'd like to have on my main index page the Login screen (welcome message if already logged in) and also if any private messages to display as well on my main page.<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> Is there an SSI for this or has someone already created a hack to do this?<!--content-->
I'm sure there's already some code laying around the net to do what you want.<br />Try <a href="http://ibforums.com" target="_blank">http://ibforums.com</a><!--content-->
<img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="eek.gif" /> That looked like a basic entrance page to IPS... lol... Not much help there or on the official forums since they cater to licensed users only as well.<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/1eye.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":1eye:" border="0" alt="1eye.gif" /> I've been Googling for an answer as well. Thanks tho, Raul!<br /><br />EDIT: I think I might have found it on the official forums after all! <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/clapping.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":clapping:" border="0" alt="clapping.gif" /><!--content-->
Humm.... sorry about that. That site (ibforums) used to be a great resource for finding IPB stuff. Guess that now that IPB is no longer free, they decided to cut people off from any free resources, too... too bad, they could win a lot of customers (people using IPB 1.3 who would upgrade to 2.0) but this way it's more likely they'll lose them, by trying to force them to upgrade... :\<!--content-->

I have found it to be good resource.<!--content-->
<img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/no2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":no2:" border="0" alt="no2.gif" /> You're absolutely correct, Raul. I'm sure they lost quite a bit of people. There are still some unofficial IPB support forums out there that cater to the trial version ppl. As we saw, Thomas pointed out a couple. I'm in shock that you can't even download the free trials anymore. Those who got the 2.0 trial version when it was first released were lucky. I wasn't one of them... lol<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tchrocks!.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":tchrocks!:" border="0" alt="tchrocks!.gif" /> Thanks for the links, Thomas!<br /><br />EDIT: I just noticed from the forums upgrade thread you were able to get the free trial of 2.0, Raul! Wish they didn't discontinue that. They should do like some software people and have the current version chargable and the previous version free. Every time they come out with a new release, charge a license fee (to those downloading it for first time - free to the paying customers) and make the previous version a free download. That makes more sense to me. And might even get ppl to pay for the upgrades. <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes1:" border="0" alt="rolleyes1.gif" /><!--content-->
Yes, I did get the 2.0 trial. Unfortunately I installed it and deleted the downloaded package <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /><br /><br />Anyway, you can still get a trial version but it's encoded with Zend Encoder or IonCube and has a bunch of limitations.<!--content-->
<img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> It's okay Raul. I wasn't requesting it from you... lol<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> I found a couple Website Integration Mods, but am having a hard time getting them to work, so am still on the look out if anyone can help. <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wallbash.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wallbash:" border="0" alt="wallbash.gif" /><!--content-->
<img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> More babbling. Is it safe to try and use IPB SDK? Few scripts in there that do what I want.<!--content-->
lol<br />I didn't interpret it as if you were requesting it from me <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><br />I can try to repackage it and send it to you, if you want (although I don't know if that violates any part of the original trial agreement) but I don't think you'll have much success installing it, since the install directory is gone <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /><br /><br />As for the IPB SDK, I have no idea, I didn't even knew there was one available <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /><!--content-->
<img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> It prob would violate their agreement anyway.<br /><br /> <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ph34r:" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> I'm going to install the SDK and make some attemptions tonight before out partying in the new year. Here's the link if you're interested in checking out SDK, Raul: <a href="http://ipbsdk.sourceforge.net" target="_blank">http://ipbsdk.sourceforge.net</a><!--content-->
Hmmm... that looks very interesting! Thanks a lot!<br />It can actually be very usefull for something TCH wants to do! <img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /><!--content-->
<img src="http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/kicking.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance:" border="0" alt="kicking.gif" /> If I can help TCH out, the better. Glad I could help! I installed the SDK version for 1.* (there's a special one available for 2.0) and I have gotten exactly what I was looking for in my first post in this thread.<!--content-->
