Just windering what the best practise is for serach engine optimization. Ive recently optimized my site so that each page targets 2-3 specific keywords. Id this the best thing to do? For example we sell one product called reflective window film and its available in half a dozen different colours, in my old site Id just targetted that specific keyword but obviously with the could before it. On this newly designed site Ive researched lots of different possibilities for keywords and on this new site Ive used 3 different keywords, Im wondering now will I be loosing ranking on the main reflective window film keyword? Best practice for on page optimization is make sure you have keywords in the url, in your case, make sure the url is something like domain dot com/reflective-window-films/ . have keyword-oriented content with appropriate keyword density by using keywords in the content writeups. If you have images, use ALT and TITLE attributes for the IMG elements to describe their content to the search engine. Very nice looking site works very well.........

If you submit to search engines....submit the internal pages as well....... I've tried to do that, all urls are targeted towards specific keywords but Im wondering if I should concentrate on a specific few keywords and use these for all similar products or target each product to 3 different keywords. When I go to google webmaster it shows a list of words and phrases and how often they are used, if I had all 10 products that are different colours targetted to the same keywords I would increase the amount of this keyword in my site and would this then make google put me higher for this keyword. Im sorry if it doesnt make sense but I was told not to list the specific keywords as an example as it looks spammy. So what Im trying to ask is if Ive got 10 similar products and a "best" keyword that matched all these products should I target that at all 10 products increasing the amount of times its mentioned on my site or just target this on one product and choose another different keyword for each other product?
