If page A links to page B with 3 links , does page B gets 3 "votes" and page A counts 3 outbound links, or the number to the outbound links to the same target is irrelevant for both A and B pages? I consider a backlink as a vote, but not on internal links. Internal links are not outbound links. Outbound links, also called external links, are links pointing to another websites from yours, which means it's a link going out of your site. I don't believe the number of links from the same page to another page really makes a difference in vote count. However, it probably makes crawling speed and accuracy a little better. Create a good linking structure and avoid making the same link or landing page of your keyword in a single page. you can use keyword when you create link structure Its only outbound links which should not be more from your site to other site, the ration should be maintained as 70:30 for inbound utbound links... In my own experiences, outbound links would refer to backlinks but not inner links.
Of course, a well-structured inner link system would be helpful for ranking just like wikipedia. hi

If you are doing this for users, then it will be ok: but doing this to get any SEo benefit may not help. as far as i know, linking your page to one another is a process for fast indexing. not for gaining backlinks. choose a right keyword and make a good quality of backlink... I dont think you need to worry about 'link juice' or what you call 'votes' when dealing with internal linking. After all, you are linking to your own pages on the same website. But I have heard about pagerank sculpting technique and there they sculpt internal links also. If somebody could clarify that point it would be great. Hello Friend,
