Interfaces - (Please Help, Before I Go Insane)

I'll start by saying :) hi since I've not dropped by this forum in awhile now.
Anyway here is my problem, I've just been learning on how to create interfaces and this is what I came up with eventualy.

http://www.liquid2k.com/zxblaze/images/ ... timate.jpg

What is the best way to add this to a site?

- I read about image maps, but that seemed to take along time to load.
- I attempted splicing it into a table but after a long time spent trying to get my brain round the idea of how I could do it, getting selections of where the buttons will be consistant seemed too hard, (so I thourght there must be a better way)
A friend of mine suggested converting it into Flash5 but I'm not very experienced in that, so maybe I will have to come back to that idea.
There are far more advanced interfaces than what I've got so how do the pro's do it? (is it just a case of me designing it badly?)
Is there some sort of program which can splice it and create the code for you?

Ok I think I've asked too many questions already, so I hope you can help me :D

- Btw I like the new post'icons they're :verycool:I'd go for Macromedia Fireworks on this.

I tried it on your preview, and got in under five minutes. It sliced the image into a number of smaller ones, and gave me a clean html file with the table in place. Links were all in place instantly.

You can Download a trial version at the Macromedia website if you 'd be interestedHey  :D

Looks good.Try using few more colours. It looks a bit too bluish. And try ading some other effect to your text and the yellow is a bit too dark.

The best thing would be to slice it up or use image maps.
.You can slice your images if you have Paint shop pro or Adobe photoshop 6.You can Download some software to slice ur images - Try Coffee cup image slicer - its a freeware http://www.gemaco.de/softbox/ccslice.exe
