I'm using a version of Interbase 6 I downloaded from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.interbase.com">www.interbase.com</a><!-- w --> as backend database with php and now (for several reasons) I want to buy a license. The problem is I don't understand which one I should buy due to the number of users that can access the database.
Should I buy just one license, because apache is only one user, or do I have to buy the 'Internet License' (although I'm not programming a web site, but an intranet)?
Is there any other serious (and cheap) database solution for Windows?
(Please don't suggest MySQL nor Oracle, they have already been discarded).
