Installing the ambient light style needing help as the border will not show?

I really wanted to install this style on my forum but for some reason once installed I cannot see the colours that are supposed to be around the outside of my forums. Please can somebody help me?

Btw just saw I spelt the style wrong it show say ambinet lighting
