INSERTING DATA EVEN WHEN ISVALID IS FALSE, PLEASE

Is there any way to capture the data in the view state and write it to a table even when IsValid is false? I know you can't submit when you have fields that are required but I need to capture incomplete records.<BR><BR>thanks
