Inferno shoutbox limit characters

ok im having mind blankness lol

im looking for a way to limit text users type in the shout box

as i have some users abusing that u can add alot of text

ide like to limit to around 150 characters but cant figure how to lol
an if text is too long to alert user text is too long

Isn't it in admincp > vbulletin options > chatbox word limiting?

I'm not sure because I use cyb's chatbox it's the best

no that dont help cause inferno doesnt have them options that i see in vb options

i beleive i have to edit a template :-??
